When TheraMap is ordered by an oncologist, the process starts by securing the tumor specimen for processing. With all the logistics and paperwork taken care of, it’s easier to focus on what’s important: caring for your patients.
Utilizing state-of-the-art next-generation sequencing, additional molecular methods, and proprietary data analytics, NAVICAN identifies all clinically relevant cancer mutations. This comprehensive tumor profile serves as the foundation
for Intermountain Healthcare’s molecular tumor board to analyze and prioritize treatment options.
NAVICAN provides access to Intermountain Healthcare’s molecular tumor board, a multi-institutional group of clinical experts and precision medicine key opinion leaders. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, they’ll provide a firm
recommendation for treatment with one specific therapy highlighted and others stack-ranked below it.*
Experienced NAVICAN treatment navigators help patients access the precision therapy they need as soon as possible. They’ll help guide the entire process: facilitating access to cancer therapies and clinical trials, completing paperwork
required for prior authorizations and appeals, and submitting applications to patient assistance programs.
NAVICAN navigators will remain the point of contact for patients after testing is complete and therapy has been initiated. We’re deeply committed to caring for patients. Our job isn’t done until we’ve made an impact on each of the
patients we serve.
*Treatment decisions should always be made by the oncologist and the individual patient.
